I recently had the opportunity to stay at Tawerna, a hotel located a bit off the bustling center, which I found to be a blessing in disguise. The quiet surroundings provided a perfect retreat, especially after long days exploring Poland's rich history. The room was stylish and well-equipped, with a jacuzzi that I highly recommend for a touch of relaxation. The cleanliness was decent, although the carpet showed signs of wear and could use replacing. The bar downstairs was a highlight-great service and a cozy atmosphere for unwinding after a long day of cycling through historical sites. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise; everything we needed to fuel up for our adventures was delicious and satisfying. The convenience of checking in until midnight was a nice touch for late arrivals. While the hotel isn't in the center, it's conveniently near the A4 highway, making it accessible for travelers. With free Wi-Fi in rooms and free parking, Tawerna offers a good balance of luxury and value for those looking to relax away from the hustle of city life.
